Clear Xanthan Gum is a USP/Cosmetic grade of Xanthan Gum meant for making beauty products and health products in which product clarity and stable viscosity is of great importance. 

It is a stable rheology modifier and gum that helps stabilizes emulsion and gels thereby increasing viscosity. 

It works by preventing the settling of solids in different types of personal care product formulations and pharmaceutical formulations.

With excellent freeze/thaw stability, Clear Xanthan Gum USP is stable over a broad temperature range from room temperature and 60C.

pH RANGE

It works over a broad pH range of 2 and 12.

HOW TO USE CLEAR XANTHAN GUM USP

Usage rate is between: 0.5 - 2%

Add to the water phase of your formulation.

Mix with glycerin (2-5%)  in order to prevent clumping before adding water. 

IMPORTANT NOTE:

When Making Lotions, Creams, Conditioners or other products that require heating more than 60C, add this to the cool down phase (40C) of your formulation.

Clear Xanthan USP is stable from room temperature to 60C.
