Salicylic Acid is an active skin care exfoliant  and the family of Beta Hydroxy Acids.

It has a larger molecule than AHA.

It is very useful for treating acne and for making cosmetic products for sensitive acne prone skin.

Salicylic Acid pore-cleansing property makes a great acne fighter.

Those who are very sensitive to Alpha Hydroxy Acids will find comfort in using salicylic acid as it is more gentle.

Usage rate: 0.5 to 2%

For stubborn acne, use at 2%.

For milder acne, use at 1%.

A pH lower than 3.5 can cause irritation.

To avoid this, ensure you check and adjust the pH to make sure it is between 4.5 to 5.0
